Kim McGhee is a Canadian mixed media artist who resides an hour east of Toronto.

“Art is so much more than entertainment, it has the power to inspire and move you emotionally, the ability to open another persons eyes and take them on a journey with you.”

From a young age, Kim had an innate compulsion to create. She continually felt inspired by her surroundings.

"Through my breast cancer journey, I found my way back to the arts. It gave me an escape from the chaos around me - an inner peace. I believe this helped me heal."

Kim’s art pieces consist of resin art, acrylic paintings or a combination of both. She is very passionate about working with resin, as it reminds her that it’s okay to have less control and to let things flow to allow the beauty to prevail.

Inspired by the way resin flows, she created a collection of ocean wave themed charcuterie boards. “The ocean for me is calming, serene. It allows me to free my mind. It’s healing for my mind, body and soul."
